What is your Grading Scale:
Grades will be made up of an average of the following, please refer to the math class you have:
Finance:
Tests/Assessments/Projects ................................ 80%
Homework/Quizzes/Participation.........................10%

What is Criteria for Credit?
Students will only receive full credit for work when:
1) It is properly labeled (name, date, period
in upper right hand corner)
2) Answers/Titles/Sections are highlighted
3) Problems are labeled properly
4) All work is neatly organized and shown
5) There is a space between each problem
6) If a project everything must be typed
How can I/my child get help if needed:
There is a help form to fill out in class to receive tutoring. I will
be available most lunch periods as well as after school. Please encourage
them to sign-up when needed.

Classroom Rules/Consequences:
Classroom Rules that must be followed
1. Be Respectful (to ALL)
2. Be prepared EVERY day (not doing so will result in 1 demerit)
3. Follow Directions (if you don’t understand ASK!)
4. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself – I do not tolerate
bullying and/or touching others
5. Follow all rules as stated in the Fundamental Student Code of Conduct
– if you are not sure what they are look in your planner.
6. No cell phones.

:: Warning (verbal/non-verbal/written)

Ways to be Successful in my class:
:: Come to class EVERY day
:: Complete your homework EVERY night – I do not assign homework
for the sake of assigning homework – it is assigned to give you
the practice you need!
:: ASK questions, the only stupid questions are the ones never asked
:: Be respectful to me, your peers, and any other person that enters my
classroom

of handout’s, homework calendar and more!
